Located right behind Bugis Junction, this Thai restaurant is reasonably priced with delicious Thai cuisine.
I have passed by this restaurant a few times and every time, it has always been crowded. Lucky for me, I managed to get a table for dinner a few days ago! It has all your favorite “must haves” Thai dishes and more.
You can’t go to a Thai restaurant and not have their Tom Yum Soup right ? This time we opted for the clear soup with only prawns. I was pleasantly surprised when we received that big hot bowl of aromatic Thai soup. They do not skimp on the ingredients. There were a ton of prawns and mushrooms! It serves more than enough for 2 people if not maybe 3. Will definitely want to try their thick Tom Yum Soup when I`m there next.
Yes. I got chicken wings… again. When do I not ? This item is new on their menu and I`m obviously glad I ordered it. (I rarely regret getting wings). Marinated in lemongrass and many other herbs, these wings were a great appetizer. Even though I couldn’t finish it all, I packed it back and they tasted even better the next day!
These beancurd were cut in big chunky pieces but they were oh so soft and tasty with their mildly spicy sweet and sour sauce.
Ah Loy Thai has proven that when it comes to good authentic Thai food, they sure know what they are doing! From their signature dishes to coming up with new Thai inspired dishes, every dish hits all the right notes.
